Job Requirements

- Proven experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with industry best practices and kitchen sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, days, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn and grow
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely manner
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or issues
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to improve food quality and efficiency
- Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
