Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of relevant culinary experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to food safety and quality
  • Willingness to learn and advance culinary skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of progressive culinary experience in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Culinary training or certification preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with culinary team to develop seasonal menu offerings
  • Monitor portion sizes and food waste
  • Support training and mentoring of new kitchen staff
