Job Requirements
- Ability to walk or stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- ability to carry up to 50 lbs safely
- good communication skills
- basic knife skills or willingness to learn
- high school diploma or equivalent
- legal eligibility to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and team oriented
- able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- willingness to learn and be trained
- dependable and high energy
- previous kitchen or cooking experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Properly learn and execute recipe procedures
- keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen
- communicate ticket times to team members and management when needed
- complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
- ability to use knives, slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc
- help fellow team members when appropriate
- able to walk or stand 100 percent (up to 8 hours) of shift, able to carry and safely maneuver up to 50 lbs
- maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen and restaurant to company standards
