Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Strong knife skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a high-volume or high-quality culinary environment
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, mixers, food processors, slicers, steamers, flat-top grills, and steam tables
  • Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of culinary techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 70 lbs

Job Duties

  • Work all stations on the line (grill, sauté, cold line) and prepare menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Complete mise en place and station setup for various meal periods
  • Safely operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment
  • Properly label, date, and rotate food items
  • maintain par levels and support efforts to manage food cost, reduce waste, and ensure efficient usage
