Job Requirements
- Be 17 years of age or older
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- Possess at least 6 months of experience in a similar cooking capacity
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours)
- Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications

- Demonstrate clear communication skills with managers and dining room personnel

- Be physically capable of reaching, bending, and stooping
Job Duties
- Accurately cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products
- Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
- Plate and garnish cooked items according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and kitchen equipment
- Stock and ensure sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- Follow standardized portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies consistently
- Assist in food preparation during off-peak periods
- Properly close the kitchen and complete closing checklists
- Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute improvement suggestions
- Perform other related duties as assigned by kitchen manager or MOD
