Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Proven cooking experience including line cook or prep cook
  • Food handlers certification
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English
  • Availability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to cleanliness and food safety
  • Good personal grooming and appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare food safely and according to Chef instructions
  • Portion and present food appealingly
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • Check and prepare pars for shifts
  • Maintain and stock the food line
  • Store food properly and ensure cleanliness
  • Control food waste and manage inventory
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Practice proper food safety handling
  • Use kitchen equipment correctly and safely
  • Report accidents and maintain a clean work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
