Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
- proof of employment eligibility in the u.s.
- ability to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- active california food handlers certificate/card
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- ability to walk, stand, and bend for 3 or more hours daily
- ability to perform repetitive hand motions for full shift
- willingness to work in conditions with exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, temperature extremes, humidity or wetness

Job Duties
- ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and presentation standards
- provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking
- monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
- recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products and grains including proper storage
- effectively utilize leftovers and control waste
- work flexibly and take direction
- collaborate as a team member in a small confined space
