Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven cooking experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living environments preferred
- Ability to work full-time with rotating weekends
- Successful completion of background screening
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cooking preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene practices

- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
Job Duties
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, timing, and presentation meet standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow health and safety regulations in food handling
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
