Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two or more years of restaurant cooking experience preferred
- ability to work on feet for 8 or more hours a day
- ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
- strong teamwork skills
- excellent verbal communication skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- proven cooking experience including positions of restaurant line or prep cook
- two or more years restaurant experience preferred
- excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- familiarity with industry’s best practices
- excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Job Duties
- assist the Lead Line Cook with daily food preparation
- cook menu items according to Aprile recipes and standards
- set up and maintain supply stations with necessary ingredients and equipment
- ensure accuracy and speed in executing assigned cooking tasks
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- follow health and safety procedures in food handling and kitchen safety
