Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous kitchen or line cook experience beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items up to 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 6 months or more of line cook experience preferred
  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time

Job Duties

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
  • Exceptional communication skills - the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line
  • Other duties as assigned
