Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree from accredited school or two years experience in culinary field
- Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking methods
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive on time with neat and clean uniform and safety shoes
- Adherence to safe work practices and food handling standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Complete accurate inventory count each month with understanding of cost of goods sold
- Attend monthly kitchen staff meetings covering training, progress, safety, and financials
- Assist Executive Chef in planning menus with Food and Beverage Director
- Follow standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation
- Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other line items
- Use food preparation equipment according to manufacturer instructions
- Ensure all restaurant staff are familiar with key ingredients, preparation, and taste of menu items
