Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- ability to learn and follow detailed cooking instructions and recipes
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards

- ability to work standing for long periods
- willingness to be challenged and learn continuously

Job Duties
- Learns all noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
- checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
- cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
- plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
- prepares and cuts garnishes for noodle line items
- labels all items in accordance with health department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- attends monthly staff meetings and noodle meetings
- keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
- lifts and moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
- assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
- maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information including recipes and standard operating procedures
