Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Culinary school training or certification
  • Experience with various cooking styles and cuisines

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely service
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock and minimizing food waste
  • Adapt to changing menu items and special dietary requests as needed
