Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or culinary role preferred

- ability to operate kitchen machinery with finger and hand dexterity
- capable of lifting and moving goods up to 100 pounds continuously
Job Duties
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards per check from servers
- start food items prepared ahead of time without overproduction
- date all food containers and rotate per Crescent standards ensuring proper temperature for perishables
- check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation and line set up
- note out-of-stock items or shortages and assist in keeping buffet stocked
- return unused food items to designated storage properly labeled
- assist in food cost control and waste reduction per company standards
- operate and maintain kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill
- comply with attendance rules and be regularly available
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
