Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of food product identification, preparation and service techniques
  • Knowledge of food preparation, service, presentation and culinary techniques
  • Knowledge of federal and state food service sanitation guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate business levels

Job Duties

  • Ensure all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures are followed
  • Verify all standards of sanitation, cleanliness and nutrition are maintained throughout the kitchen
  • Prepare items according to standard recipes and procedures for member service
  • Follow all state and local health and food safety regulations
  • Coordinate and time orders with other kitchen operations
  • Work multiple locations or stations as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and equipment
  • Set-up, maintain and break down stations
  • Cover, date and store leftover products
  • Make recommendations for maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment
  • Open and close the kitchen according to procedures
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by Chefs
  • Work seamlessly with dining room staff and management to provide high-level service
  • Maintain a neat and professional demeanor and appearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by culinary leadership
