Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a full-service restaurant kitchen
  • Ability to work according to shift assignments
  • Ability to maintain Food Handlers or Manager Certificates
  • Ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
  • Ability to work indoors in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills
  • Ability to follow sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness
  • Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking and boiling
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma from a culinary school is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure consistent quality and portion control
  • Receive and check food and supplies, inspecting condition, freshness, and correctness according to invoices and orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as directed by the Chef or General Manager
  • Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by management
  • Protect the assets of the Club by adhering to established policies and standards
  • Operate within guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf
  • Maintain Food Handlers or Manager Certificates
  • Assist with other duties as needed
