Job Requirements
- Proven cooking experience including positions of restaurant line/prep cook
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis

Job Duties
- Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sauteing, or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and/or marinating
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
- Communicate with team members to maintain product on the food line
- Communicate shortage of menu items to the Restaurant Manager immediately
- Stock work stations according to procedural guidelines in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain appropriate portion and quality control including proper food handling, food safety and sanitation standards to ServeSafe requirements at all times
- Clean, sanitize and keep food areas stocked
- Meet all restaurant and customer service objectives
