Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
  • Capacity to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to perform cleaning and custodial tasks

Job Duties

  • Uses oven and stove to prepare food
  • Cleans produce
  • Prepares food such as soups, salads, desserts, beverages to spec within a specified time limit
  • Ability to understand and follow food and knife safety procedures
  • Assists with receiving deliveries and ingredients, stocking ingredients and rotating product
  • Performs deep cleaning duties
  • Keeps track of waste items and maintains specified food portions
  • Maintains consistent familiarity with new and current recipes
  • Uses recipe builders and spec details provided daily to ensure consistency of product served
  • Performs custodial duties as required
