Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year cook experience in a related role
  • Strong cooking and knife skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work well with team members and communicate effectively
  • Must be cheerful and presentable when interacting with customers
  • Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to perform physical activities including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Effectively participate in professionally run daily food service exemplifying excellence in portioning, cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication
  • Prepare, cook, and serve items while adhering to recipes ensuring high quality and visual presentation of food
  • Prepare and deliver catering orders placed for meeting and event clients with precision and punctuality
  • Assist other associates ensuring all kitchen duties are completed within time constraints
  • Ensure all proper steps of service are followed in accordance with Convene standards
  • Responsible for constant sanitation, organization and proper food handling
