Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time including day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs
  • must comply with OSHA, HACCP, and local health and safety regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle stress and emergency situations
  • willingness to work in a hot, cold, and noisy environment
  • physical ability to perform repetitive arm and hand movements

Job Duties

  • Maintains a good image of the company and helps create a positive dining experience through teamwork and service
  • ensuring the company serves a quality menu
  • responds to all guest complaints timely, taking all appropriate actions to ensure a positive experience with the restaurant and brand
  • executes the highest standards of OSHA, HACCP, local health and safety code, and company policies
  • ensure all sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • works closely with front of house staff and managers to achieve targeted results in sales and food cost
  • performs manual tasks including lifting, standing, and following kitchen procedures to maintain workflow
