- Ability to perform basic knife skills and work at least one station
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive, upbeat fashion utilizing English, both oral and written

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Demonstrate proper plate presentation including garnish setup for all dishes
- Adhere to proper portioning and follow recipe specifications, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including all surfaces and equipment
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager on duty
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and ask questions
