Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred
  • ability to work rotating weekends and specified hours
  • must successfully complete background screening prior to employment
  • physical ability to perform kitchen tasks
  • attention to cleanliness and safety
  • strong teamwork ethic

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience preferably in healthcare or senior living settings
  • knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • ability to work efficiently under time constraints

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables or butchering meat
  • cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
  • ensure food is served simultaneously in high quality and timely manner
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • assist with inventory management and supply ordering
  • follow all health and safety regulations
  • contribute to a positive team environment
