Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven cooking experience preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing or senior living setting
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Successful completion of background screening prior to employment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure food is served simultaneously in high quality and timely fashion
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- Assist in inventory management and stocking supplies
- Follow dietary guidelines specific to senior living
- Collaborate with team to improve kitchen operations and customer satisfaction
