Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven cooking experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living facilities
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday and Sundays with rotating weekends
- Successful completion of a background screening prior to employment
- Availability to work shifts from 11AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday and 6AM to 3PM on Sundays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food items such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and making sauces
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff
- Ensure food is delivered in high quality and in a timely manner
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen cleanliness
- Participate in rotating weekend schedule
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
