Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven cooking experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living facilities
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday and Sundays with rotating weekends
  • Successful completion of a background screening prior to employment
  • Availability to work shifts from 11AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday and 6AM to 3PM on Sundays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and making sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff
  • Ensure food is delivered in high quality and in a timely manner
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with inventory management and kitchen cleanliness
  • Participate in rotating weekend schedule
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
