Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of quantity cooking experience
- Valid Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification per state requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Meet all local and facility health requirements
- Pass post-employment physical exam, drug screening, background check, and reference verification as required
- Comply with all company safety, employee, and patient safety policies, including zero tolerance for harassment or violence

Job Duties
- Prepare food items in a sanitary, timely, and efficient manner
- Follow menus, recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Set up, maintain, and break down assigned workstations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure tray accuracy for menu items and diet preferences
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, dishes, and utensils
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory and storage of food items
- Adhere to all sanitation, safety, infection control, and facility policies
- Report hazardous conditions, equipment issues, accidents, or incidents
- Work effectively in a non-temperature-regulated kitchen environment
- Assist with menu planning
- Record food temperatures
- Prepare required reports
- Assist during emergency or evacuation situations as needed
