Job Qualifications

  • basic experience in a kitchen setting, including knife skills and sanitation knowledge
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions from the Chef
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment and stations
  • understanding of the importance of food waste control
  • ability to read orders from the POS system
  • strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • setting up equipment and ingredients prior to service
  • reading and preparing menu items quickly and accurately according to provided recipes
  • preparing food for team member meals
  • performing inventory checks on perishable items and notifying leadership of products nearing expiration
  • assisting with banquet preparation and production to meet client expectations
  • ensuring coolers and prep areas are cleaned, organized, and properly secured at the end of each shift
  • storing food correctly, following proper labeling and rotation procedures
  • maintaining food quality and sanitation standards before, during, and after service
  • supporting the team with additional tasks as assigned
