Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or a related role preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Willingness to comply with safety and security policies
- Availability to work regular shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow recipes and production standards
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting heavy objects

- Finger and hand dexterity to operate food machinery
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry goods up to 100 lbs continuously
Job Duties
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time without over preparing
- Date all food containers and rotate them according to Crescent standards
- Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation and line setup
- Assist in keeping buffet stocked
- Return unused food items to designated storage areas properly covered and dated
- Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill
