Job Requirements

  • Active food handler's certification or the ability to get it
  • Willingness to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to be on feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Desire to exceed expectations
  • Energetic personality

Job Qualifications

  • Active food handler's certification or ability to obtain it
  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Desire to grow culinary skills and talents
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • At least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods including grill, saute and fry
  • Use knives and various kitchen equipment
  • Recreate recipes consistently
  • Maintain consistency in all food preparation
  • Minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership team to create menus
  • Prepare and organize workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables and cutting meat
  • Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • Ensure proper storage of all food and items
  • Take responsibility for the quality of ingredients
