Job Requirements

  • Must be able to visually read written and digital information

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock workstations with appropriate supplies and tools
  • Assist with stocking incoming inventory
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with Head Chef and other kitchen employees
  • Clean up station and appropriately manage leftover food
  • Manage timing of food preparation to ensure food comes out simultaneously always paying close attention to quality
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations always ensuring that food is received, stored, and prepared according to standards
  • Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies
  • May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes
  • Employee may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by their supervisor
