Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • aptitude for multi-tasking
  • must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
  • must be able to hear well in an environment with loud background noise

Job Duties

  • Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked
  • cook and prepare simple components of each dish on the menu
  • report to the kitchen manager and follow instructions
  • make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
  • clean and maintain prep areas
  • stock inventory and supplies
  • general cleaning
