Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a food preparation or line cook role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions in a senior living environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and meals according to established recipes and health standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure quality and presentation
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient kitchen operations
  • Educate residents and team members about healthy food options
  • Manage inventory and promptly report supply needs
