Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • two to three years of fine dining culinary experience
  • valid food handler certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • ability to work full-time hours
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and club policies
  • good communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • two to three years' experience in fine dining cuisine
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
  • self-starter and team player
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to offer menu ideas and think independently
  • food handler certificate required within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • prepare and set up sauté station and appetizer set up
  • assist chef in set up and cooking of meals as needed
  • prepare food in accordance with club recipes and standards
  • clean up sauté area and food service line
  • support the goals and objectives of the company with a professional, service oriented attitude
  • follow safe work practices at all times
  • adhere to schedule and dress code
  • prepare meats, seafoods, vegetables and other items for line and special functions
  • carefully follow standard recipes
  • use food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions
  • cook and sauté food when ordered
  • consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • cover, wrap and return unused food products to proper storage
  • return soiled utensils and small ware items to proper areas
  • assist with sweeping and mopping kitchen floors as needed
