Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • must be able to stand for long periods
  • must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
  • must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • must comply with all company policies and procedures
  • regular and consistent attendance required
  • must be able to work well with other team members, managers and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures such as blanching, sautéing, standard breading
  • intermediate knife skills
  • basic kitchen operations experience
  • experience cooking in a high level, fast-paced kitchen
  • ability to read and understand recipes
  • effective communication skills with other cooks
  • knowledge and understanding of basic math
  • ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to assignments from Sous Chefs including vegetable preparation, vinaigrettes, salads, stocks, meat fabrication, sauce making and other advanced techniques
  • clean work area and kitchen during and at the end of shift
  • play a central role in production of finished dishes during service
  • assist with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
  • take direction and follow recipes
  • work in a supervised environment
  • work at a steady pace with service orientation and quicken pace as needed
