Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required
  • Must be able to work well with other team members, managers and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures including blanching, sauteing, and breading
  • Intermediate knife skills
  • Basic kitchen operations experience
  • Experience working in a high-level, fast-paced kitchen
  • Ability to read and understand recipes
  • Strong communication skills with other kitchen staff
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic math
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge

Job Duties

  • Perform food preparation tasks as assigned by the Sous Chefs including vegetable preparation, vinaigrettes, salads, stocks, meat fabrication, and sauce making
  • Clean work area and kitchen during and at the end of shift
  • Play a central role in producing finished dishes during service periods
  • Assist with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
  • Follow directions and recipes accurately
  • Work in a supervised environment
  • Maintain steady pace with ability to adjust speed as needed
  • Coordinate production over multiple days and plan transition for other team members
  • Plan workday to accomplish multiple tasks
  • Identify basic food products
  • Maintain organized and sanitary work station
  • Collaborate effectively within a team
  • Taste food for quality assurance
