Job Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation or culinary field preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion sizes
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to transport heavy food products
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Willingness to adhere to company grooming and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares daily preparation lists for production
  • Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • Prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications to ensure product consistency
  • Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in all menu preparations
  • Checks and controls proper storage of products with attention to portion control to maintain quality
  • Maintains cleanliness and working condition of refrigeration, equipment, storage, and kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations
  • Maintains all logs related to cooling, heating, and temperature
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Follows safety and security procedures and rules
  • Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilizes protective equipment
  • Reports unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, near-misses, and property damage to management
  • Provides a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures
  • Maintains neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
  • Performs any related duties as requested by management
  • Assists other kitchen personnel when needed
