Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or culinary services
  • Ability to handle heavy food products
  • Availability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and portion controls
  • Strong hygiene and clean appearance maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety and fire prevention procedures
  • Ability to utilize protective equipment
  • Good physical stamina
  • Ability to report unsafe conditions and incidents promptly

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar food preparation or kitchen role
  • Knowledge of food safety and health department regulations
  • Ability to follow recipes and use math skills for portion control

  • Ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares daily preparation lists for production
  • Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • Prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest check specifications to ensure product consistency
  • Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in preparation
  • Checks and controls proper storage of products and monitors portion control
  • Maintains cleanliness and working condition of refrigeration, equipment, and storage areas to comply with health regulations
  • Maintains all logs related to cooling, heating, and temperature
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Follows safety and security procedures and fire prevention protocols
  • Utilizes protective equipment
  • Reports unsafe conditions and incidents to management
  • Maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Assists other kitchen personnel as needed
  • Performs related duties as requested by management
