Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' progressive experience in a relevant culinary environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical stamina to perform kitchen duties
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • culinary training or certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations
  • ensure proper food storage and handling to comply with safety regulations
  • assist in receiving and storing inventory
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to meet daily production goals
  • monitor food preparation times to ensure timely service
  • follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and kitchen equipment
