Job Requirements
- Must be 18 to apply
- received high school diploma or GED
- current ServeSafe certification required
- ability to take directions and effectively perform work
- minimum 1 year experience in food service
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to lift 25 pounds to waist
- ability to stand for long hours
- effective verbal communication
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
- properly label and date food items for storage
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to assure a smooth service period
- assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen walk-in and storage areas
- comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- use food preparation tools according to manufacturer instructions
- close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
- prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- constant use of safe and hygienic food handling practices
- return dirty food preparation utensils to appropriate areas
- assist with all duties as assigned by Executive Chef
