Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience cooking in a restaurant
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures and skillful knife handling
- Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Required to see, hear and speak verbally and audibly
- Required to ascend and descend stairs
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel
- May be required to work outside in various weather conditions
- May be asked to drive or travel for business purposes
- Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state
- Must disclose prescribed or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair ability to perform essential functions
- Natural and regular stressors occur on the job

Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
- Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
- Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
- Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
- Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including, knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
