Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Hold current ServeSafe certification
- Ability to take directions and effectively perform work
- At least one year experience in food service preparing meals
- Ability to produce quality food in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and customer service oriented
- Good work ethic
- Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
- Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards
- Ability to work with other staff members
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to lift 25 pounds to waist
- Able to stand for long hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
- Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
- Properly label and date food items for storage
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to assure a smooth service period
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage areas
- Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Use food preparation tools according to manufacturer instructions
- Close the kitchen correctly following the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
- Return dirty food preparation utensils to appropriate areas
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
