Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of line cook experience preferred
  • Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recreate recipes per The Sicilian Butcher standards
  • Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and products
  • Must have a current food handler's card or be able to obtain one
  • Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual, and be a team player
  • High school diploma
  • A higher degree in hospitality or relevant field will be a plus

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of line cook experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and punctuality
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to recreate recipes according to company standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Possession or ability to obtain a valid food handler's card

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
