Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant Line Cook experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, scratch-kitchen or upscale restaurant
- Competency in operating an open-fire or wood-burning grill
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Current Food Handler's certification
- Availability for full-time or part-time work up to 40 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Line Cook experience in a fast-paced, scratch-kitchen or upscale environment
- Verifiable experience running a grill or broiler station
- Deep knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques and equipment operation, especially on an open-fire or wood-burning grill
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure for extended periods
- Possesses a current Food Handler's certification
Job Duties
- Execute all recipes and preparation methods exactly as defined by the Executive Chef
- Focus on mastering temperatures and cook times for proteins and vegetables on the open-fire grill
- Maintain an immaculate, highly organized, and properly stocked station at all times
- Handle high-volume ticket flow efficiently while ensuring minimal wait times and consistent quality
- Operate the open-fire grill utilizing fuel sources responsibly and adhering to green cooking initiatives
- Demonstrate competency across multiple stations including Grill, Assemble, Sandwich, and Salad
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and health code regulations including proper temperature control, rotation, and storage
