Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to perform occasional bending and stretching
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to use standardized recipes and follow presentation guidelines
- capability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- willingness to cross-train on multiple kitchen stations
Job Duties
- Preps and stocks all items needed to assemble regular menu selections in addition to the weekly Pool Kitchen specials
- uses standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines to prepare Pool Kitchen menu items and specials
- cross-trains on all Pool Kitchen stations including pantry, grill, flat, pizza, and prep
- labels and stocks all ingredients on shelves so they can always be organized and easily accessible
- maintains cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler on a daily basis
- performs utility duties when a utility staff member is not scheduled
- conducts self in a proper manner due to open nature of the kitchen
