Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • Understanding of cooking methods and knife handling skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail of dishes
  • Ability to read and follow kitchen instructions
  • Must be organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to see, hear and speak verbally and audibly
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop and kneel
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods including viewing a screen and using a keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to travel by car, air, or other transportation
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must report to work responsive and free from sedatives
  • Must disclose pharmaceuticals that may impair job performance

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred
  • Be a multitask master in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recreate recipes per Hash Kitchen standards
  • Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Hash Kitchen recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including, knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Hash Kitchen guidelines
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Hash Kitchen safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
