Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a busy restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment
  • Culinary school diploma or relevant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Adapt to changing menus, food requests, and special dietary needs
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff when needed
