Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Culinary school degree
  • Minimum of 2 years' culinary experience
  • Certified level cook and/or experience in food production and/or preparation
  • Food and beverage customer service experience
  • Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the highest level of execution and quality food while following timelines
  • Preps, prepares, and executes all menu items to specification and follows directions of the Executive Chef daily
  • Set up workstations based on menu items, banquet event orders, and specials ensuring all mise en place is ready for the shift
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines at all times, keeping all kitchen work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Inspect all food products to maintain proper appearance, colors, and appeal
  • Ensure all food storage is in proper containers in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness
  • Assist with all stations including prep, banquets, and dish during busy periods
