Job Duties

  • Follow Burger Lounge's vision, mission and core values to promote a positive experience for employees and guests
  • communicate professionally and respectfully with team members
  • collaborate effectively with diverse coworkers and promote inclusivity
  • accept feedback, learn from mistakes and take responsibility for actions
  • prepare food that meets guest requests, restrictions and modifications
  • ensure onion rings, French fries and salads are prepared correctly and timely
  • adhere to hand-washing and safety procedures including proper use of cut gloves
  • operate dishwashing machine and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
  • complete prep lists within suggested timelines while maintaining food quality standards
  • accurately label food products and maintain inventory for salad and fry stations
  • read and time fryer preparations to ensure food quality
  • assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and monitor food temperatures
  • support receiving and storing of supplies following first-in first-out (FIFO) method
  • perform opening and closing kitchen tasks as assigned
  • perform other duties as assigned
