Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Food safety and sanitation training
- Ability to read and speak English may be required
- Physical ability to frequently stand, use hands, talk, listen, taste and smell
- Regularly walk and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds (team lift)
- Ability to work in extreme heat and cold, wet or humid conditions, and near moving mechanical parts

Job Duties
- Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance to production plan or forecast needs
- Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste
- Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
- Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
- Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production
- Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
