Job Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably
- ability to reach, lift, bend, and carry heavy objects
- personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be used as required
- ability to listen and communicate effectively
- must be able to read food orders rung into the kitchen
- follows health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality
- expedites orders in a timely manner
- maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates
- helps reduce loss and waste
- actively participates in training efforts
- incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- attends staff meetings
- checks and dates all deliveries received and reports any variances to chef in charge
- verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned daily
- processes inventory requisition and receives supplies as necessary for quality production
- prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans
- prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
- maintains a favorable work relationship with all company employees to promote a harmonious work environment
- always provides a favorable image of Buddy's Pizza
- demonstrates teamwork by assisting other employees with duties as needed
- maintains the highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance
- displays team-building skills and always handles assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- performs all other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
