Job Requirements
- Must have strong efficiency in knife skills
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment
- Must be able to lift and push 50+ lbs
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8+ hours
- Must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities
- Must have an understanding of various cooking techniques and the ability to follow recipes
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP regulations
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred
- At least 2 years of experience cooking in a high volume institutional catering environment preferred
- Must have strong efficiency in knife skills
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment
- Must have an understanding of various cooking techniques and the ability to follow recipes
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have a strong understanding of food safety and HACCP regulations
Job Duties
- Follow HACCP regulations when preparing food for airline customers
- Prepare meals according to established customer specifications
- Maintain strong efficiency in knife skills
- Use various cooking techniques and follow recipes accurately
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds
- Adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently during long shifts
- Stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout an 8+ hour shift
